THE STEPS INVOLVED IN A PENOPLASTY PROCEDURE
BEFORE PENOPLASTY PROCEDURE
- Two preoperative consultations with a board-certified plastic surgeon will be conducted as well as a consultation with an anesthetist.

AFTER PENOPLASTY:
- Recovery is painless. Only light painkillers will be prescribed.
- Any inopportune erection would lead to adjust preventive medical treatment.
Penis enlargement:
- Expect important swelling and bruising the days following the procedure.
- You may have a shower the day following the procedure.
- You are advised to wear loose underwear the first week after the procedure. No tight briefs or tight underpants that could cause compression.
- Usually no need for downtime.
- It is advised to wait 2 to 3 weeks before progressively resume sexual activity, even if is possible as soon as the anti-erectile treatment is stopped.
- It is recommended to avoid horse riding, cycling and motorcycling 1 to 2 months after the procedure.
Penis lengthening:
- Swelling and bruising are common after the procedure.
- Daily simple care will be carried out until complete healing. (about 10 days)
- It is compulsory to wear compression underwear over bandage for 15 days in order to avoid any movement that could pull on the scar.
- Absorbable sutures would have dissolved within 10 to 15 days, with complete healing.
- It is advised to wait 3 weeks before resuming sexual activities, even if it is possible as soon as the anti-erectile treatment is stopped.
- Most patients may go back to work 5 to 10 days after the procedure depending on their activity.
- Physical activity and sport is forbidden before complete healing.
- It is recommended to avoid horse riding, cycling and motorcycling 1 to 2 months after the procedure.
